MAES Therapist Ellie Barton prepares a video for parents to show to the children we treat how it will be when wearing a surgical face mask – so that the child gets used to the idea and is not disturbed. Many thanks Ellie !
We are pleased to advise that in light of greater clarity and guidance from Public Health England and our professional bodies CSP and APCP, we can now begin to offer a cautious and phased re-opening of the MAES Therapy Studio – for those families that are experiencing limitations with virtual telehealth sessions and where Face-to-Face ‘hands-on’ treatment sessions are required, following individual triage assessment, discussion and agreement with the Therapist.
Following all available advice and guidance, MAES Therapy Studio has developed a number of Covid-19 related procedures to mitigate risk, including: Triage Pathway, Risk Assessment, Consent Forms, Operating Procedures e.g. times for treatment sessions with different Therapists will be staggered to ensure no patient crossover.
Best Wishes,
MAES Therapy Team, London
