- Taking a break during Session at the EACD Conference – Paris 2019
Specialist Neurodevelopmental Therapists from MAES Therapy London attended the
31st Annual meeting of the European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD) in Paris (France).
Children with disabilities, their families and the professionals alongside them, are experiencing rapid changes and novel opportunities provided by evolving care, rehabilitation, social and political views on childhood disability.
The motto of the EACD meeting in Paris was “Innovation for participation”. The event brought together scientists, therapists, physicians, engineers and companies from numerous fields. Youngsters and adults with disabilities as well as their families were welcomed to contribute to this conference.

The EACD is an academic association of professionals working with children with disability throughout Europe.
Members are paediatricians, neuropaediatricians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and special-needs teachers.
