MAES Course in India Participants celebrate completing this highly specialised, world-leading 4-week paediatric course held in Bengaluru during January and February 2017.

We would like to thank a number of people:

Wanassanun Aroonchote ‘Lek’, Physiotherapist from Thailand as Teaching Assistant  and  to Joshua Samuel Rajkumar PT, our Local Course Organiser, for all his hard work and enthusiasm – we are very grateful.

We would also like to thank Dr Deepak Sharan and his colleagues at RECOUP Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation Centre, Bengaluru, for hosting us and for their kind support.

The pioneering MAES Approach is for Therapists and medical Doctors who wish to specialise or further specialise in the treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy.

Course Leader:  Jean-Pierre Maes MCSP, internationally renowned expert in the field of treating babies and children with Cerebral Palsy.

The 16 Participants were a good mix of experienced paediatric Therapists (PT & OT) and a Doctor, all keen to learn about this pioneering MAES Approach and gain deeper knowledge and greater clinical skills for children with neurodevelopmental problems including CP.

Fond Farewells – until the next time !

The next MAES course in India will be in Bangalore in 2018.  Dates to be announced.
