M.A.E.S. Therapy Advanced Courses
The 3rd MAES Advanced Course this year was held in the coastal village of Tribunj , near Šibenik, Adriatic Coast, Croatia
A wonderful international gathering of 20 MAES Trained Therapists from a variety of countries: Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Ireland, Romania, UK, South Africa, Thailand, Taiwan.
An aMAESing team sprit was evident !
Course Leader Jean-Pierre provided an aMAESing course which was fully booked and it was wonderful to see experienced Paediatric Therapists gain new knowledge, improved observation skills and clinical reasoning skills and a wider treatment repertoire – in relation to the intervention and treatment of children with Cerebral Palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions.
The course included theoretical lectures, treatment demonstrations, workshops, case presentations and supervised daily practical sessions with patients.
Participants appreciated the opportunity to refresh, go deeper, to review, question, troubleshoot and to advance their M.A.E.S. Therapy approach, knowledge and clinical skills, for the greater benefit of the children they treat.
Many thanks to Local Organiser: Marija Maras PT, MAES Trained Therapist,
for arranging the venue, equipment and children for the course, and accommodation for participants and organising so well.
