Invitation to children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) between the ages of 2-10 years old, to attend specialist 1-hour therapy sessions, daily for 1 week (5 sessions) – There will be NO CHARGE for these treatment sessions as they are offered as part of our annual training course for Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists.
The purpose of this training is for fully qualified Paediatric Therapists to gain new knowledge and new clinical skills to improve their treatment of children with CP and similar neurodevelopment conditions and movement disorders.
For families in NORTH WEST LONDON this is a lovely opportunity for your child and it is also a way for you to experience your child being viewed and treated from a different therapy perspective.
Weeks available are: 12-16 August and 19-23 August
We are looking for children with a variety of ages and presentations of CP,
i.e. Ataxia (lesion or anomaly with the Cerebellum), children with Dyskinetic CP (lesion of the Basal Ganglia/HIE ), children born Pre-term with PVL (lesion in the White Matter), and children with Diplegia, Hemiplegia.
