M.A.E.S. Therapy 2-Day Introduction Course
Greater Manchester
In mid-November, 25 paediatric physiotherapists from NHS Trusts and also private practices came together for 2 days to gain new knowledge and insights that open the opportunity to further develop excellent clinical reasoning and treatment skills; for the treatment of children with CP and similar neurodevelopmental conditions.
Many thanks to the members of the APCP NW Region Committee (Lauren Haworth, Liz Cowan, Aiden Frediani, Hilary Finlay, Kat Booth & Alison Riley) who attended and helped to organise this successful training for APCP members.
Some feedback:
“It is well worth attending this course as it really challenges (in a good way) what we currently do. Jean-Pierre is extremely knowledgeable, charismatic and passionate about M.A.E.S. improving outcomes for children with CP.” SP
“I really enjoyed the different approach that the M.A.E.S. Course has made me consider with the treatment of children with CP. I look forward to seeing how the new strategies translate into my everyday practice and it has made me eager to learn more about M.A.E.S.” LP
“It is an introduction and it does inspire you to want to do more and to take the full 4-week M.A.E.S. Course. I would like others to understand and value importance of therapy. Thank you Jean-Pierre for continuing to be passionate in your work to teach others.” AF
