The 4th full M.A.E.S. Therapy Foundation Course in Poland was fully booked and very successful.
We believe there is strong demand in Poland for Therapists to learn about MAES Therapy, for this to become an annual event.
Participants have come away from this pioneering course with new knowledge, new ways to analyse and new clinical skills for treating children with Cerebral Palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions. They now know how to provide more specific individualised treatment for each child, and also how to engage parents with this during day to day living.
MAES Therapy is a pioneering evidence-based approach, underpinned by practice evidence, patient evidence and contextual evidence from 30 years’ expert clinical and teaching experience world-wide and focusing on excellent treatment skills.
Course Leader: Jean-Pierre Maes MCSP
Assisted by: Joanna Brudlo-Semeniuk and Piotr Szymkowiak,
MAES Trained Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapists.
The participants have developed a great attitude and approach through learning and practicing closely together during the 4 weeks, which was organised in 2 separate parts of 2 weeks each.
Part 1: 13 – 24 March 2023 Online – live and interactive via Zoom
Part 2: 11 – 21 April 2023 Face-to-Face
The course was held in historic Poznań, in western Poland.
