The first  M.A.E.S. Therapy Foundation Course in Taiwan was organised in conjunction with the Taiwan Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) and was a great success.

Paediatric Therapists recently completed this highly specialised 4-Week postgraduate course and were enthusiastic about the new knowledge and clinical skills gained and look forward to putting these into practice for the greater benefit of the children they treat.

M.A.E.S. Therapy is a pioneering evidence-based approach, underpinned by practice evidence, patient evidence and contextual evidence from 30 years’ expert clinical and teaching experience world-wide and focusing on excellent treatment skills.

Part 2 of the course was face-to-face and held at :

Pediatric Physiotherapy Dept., National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taipei City, Taiwan.

We gratefully thank Hong-Ji Luo, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Therapy and Assistive Technology and his colleagues for hosting us and for their support and encouragement.

MAES Therapy International also thanks Professor Wendy Tzyy-Jiuan Wang. President of Taiwan Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) for welcoming us to Taiwan at the start of the course and for presenting Course Leader Jean-Pierre Maes with a Certificate of Appreciation from the TPTA.

We extend special thanks to TPTA Contact with MAES Therapy: Ming-Rong Siao, Physiotherapist, for all her efficient, effective and hard work helping to organise the course and for ensuring that the course ran very well.

We also thank her for the Translation throughout the 4-weeks of the course and for her constantly positive and friendly approach and commitment.  We were very pleased.
